Have you ever come to the realization that someone does not like you. Just flat out has a distaste in their mouth for you?

I have.

At first I tried to figure out what went wrong. Did I do something? Say something? Act incorrect?

It use to hinder me so much. I would drive myself crazy trying to correct the situation.

Then, I came to accept it. There are so many reasons why people may not hit it off. Perhaps they just don’t like you. Yes, it’s weird. But it happens.

I finally decided that I will always treat others with respect and in a way I want to be treated, but I will not pander after those day who dislike me. I will not change my beliefs, change who I am called to be, or change the core of my being in order to be accepted.

God loves me. He accepts me. He sees value in me. He cares for me even when others reject me.

So, friend, whatever rejection you face, just know there is one that will never reject you. You are loved! You are valuable. You are worth more than even you probably realize.
