We are dirty, stained by sin, and broken. So very broken. Those who see us walk past and shake their heads. We are despised. We are rejected. We feel worthless.

BUT JESUS!

He sees us and says, “I want that one! I want the one that is dirty, stained, and broken. I want the one that is despised and rejected. I want the one that feels worthless. I can make them whole. I can make them clean. I can give them worth!”

And, my friend, that is exactly what He can do, and what He does. Ephesians 1:7 tells us this: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.”

All the things that make us dirty, stained, and broken are redeemed through His blood. We are made alive in Christ (Eph. 2:4-6; Col.2:13-14). We are indeed new creations in Him (2 Cor. 5:17)!

If you are in Christ, then you are forgiven, you are alive in Him, you are set free from the bondage of your sin. If you are in Christ, you are worth a great price. If you are in Christ, you are no longer despised and rejected because He gave His life blood for you! You are priceless. You are a treasure.

Don’t listen to the enemy. He is a liar. He cannot take what you have in Christ (Romans 8:37-39). If you combat his lies with God’s Word you will not be subject to them. We are forgiven. We are redeemed. We are new creations made for righteousness. We are His.
