What can be said about faith? Much actually. It is a word with intricate details and deep meaning. It is something so often misunderstood. It has heavy implications.

Faith, to me, is a journey. It is not a one-time event. It is an experience that continues to shape and mold who I am and who I am becoming. It is something that will change me, recreate me, force me to look at who I am, make me want to be better.

There really is not enough space here to go into all the ways that the effects of faith affect us. I hope to share bits and pieces along the way with those willing to hear. And, I promise, as I learn and grow I will share with you what I have gained.

It’s not a competition. I am not out to prove anything to others. Well, that is not entirely true. I am out to prove one thing. That faith changes things. It changes me. It changes us. And faith, which starts when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, the Son of God, the sacrifice for all our sin, continues long past that experience if we will let it.
